On day 9 we were to visit Twyfelfontein, a site of ancient rock engravings, and left Swakopmund rather early for that travelling along the coast for a while seeing some ship wrecks as the one of the ship Zeila, which stranded on 25 August 2008 in the early morning about 14km south of Henties Bay.
But after the roads taking its toll on our bus and we lost around three hours we drove directly to our lodge, the Damara Mopane Lodge.
So the rest of the day was spent relaxing once checked in at beautiful lodge.
The lodge was rather different to the others with every chalet has its own small garden planted with vegetables - such a great idea!
