On day 12 we left the Etosha Safari Lodge south west of the Park and travelled across to our next lodge, the very posh Mokuti Lodge, once a Kempinski and stil top notch.
We didn't see as many animals on that day, waterholes busy the day before were rather empty but we saw a rhinoceros (from the distance), more lions and saw the Etosha pan properly - seeing it I felt a bit like being by the sea as it often looked like a mud flat as the sun caused a mirage the far seeming like water - just like at the north sea!
At the Mokuti Lodge more animals were running around as warthogs (natural lawn mowers), ground squirrels, antelopes and zebra mongooses plus as the lodge has a little reptile zoo there were snakes, tortoises and other reptiles.
