South Africa Roundtrip - Day 5 - Krüger National Park

Getting up around 4am was hard but for a day out in the Kruger National Park a must getting there when the park opens at sunrise or just after.
A short drive in these special open safari pick up like vehicles from our hotel, group split up in three, each car (mine was the great Indian driver/ranger Arran (? not sure about spelling) who could not only speak German pretty well but could also tell some incredible stories about wildlife, the nature etc.) went on its own journey around the Southern part of the National Park, regularly close to the Sabie River.
Pretty amazing day, the first animals we saw where the ones I had wanted to see - elephants, and not just elephants, no little ones with the mummies. Most adorable.
Zebras, giraffes, rhinos, hyenas (looking so peaceful lying usually close to the street and you were wondering why they would do that), African buffalos, even hippos (from the distance), lions (from the distance as well) and many more.
I was surprised but I got quite hooked, so with the opportunity to go on another safari the following day I decided to go once more....
